Volleyball has the power to connect, empower, and uplift — no matter your ability. That belief now takes centre stage as World ParaVolley (WPV) and Let’s Keep The Ball Flying (LKTBF) unite to bring sitting volleyball to underserved communities across the globe.

The strategic partnership between WPV and LKTBF marks a significant step forward in making the sport of volleyball truly inclusive. By combining WPV’s expertise in adaptive volleyball with LKTBF’s grassroots reach, storytelling, and commitment to community empowerment, the collaboration will open doors for athletes of all abilities to experience the joy of the game.
🌍 Volleyball Partnership Goals:
Expand LKTBF’s long-term initiatives to include sitting volleyball, increasing visibility for adaptive sports.
Incorporate sitting volleyball educational tools, including WPV’s VolleySLIDE, into LKTBF’s GURU platform and coaching resources.
Raise awareness through joint storytelling campaigns, co-branded content, and social media outreach.
Train and guide LKTBF volunteers with the help of WPV’s coaching experts, ensuring quality delivery on the ground.
Educate WPV’s network of 25+ Coach Tutors about LKTBF’s movement and the Gear Up Rise Up (GURU) project.
Collaborate on identifying and activating para-volleyball growth in targeted countries.
The first activation will kick off this May in Tanzania, where the partnership will be brought to life with a hands-on project involving elite coaches, athletes, and LKTBF’s media team. WPV’s Coaching Team Leader Matt Rogers and Slovenian National Team player Tija Vrhovnik will join LKTBF in creating compelling content to showcase the accessibility and power of sitting volleyball — both for coaching purposes and global awareness.

“This collaboration is a significant step forward in making volleyball truly inclusive for everyone,” said Anton Raimondo, Development Director at WPV. “By working with LKTBF, an organisation which clearly aligns with our vision, we are ensuring that sitting volleyball is recognized as an integral part of the global volleyball community.”
“Our mission is to unite the world through volleyball, and this partnership with WPV aligns perfectly with our values of equality, inclusion, and empowerment,” added Lesley de Jonge, Executive Director of LKTBF. “By incorporating sitting volleyball into our initiatives, we are breaking barriers and creating space for everyone to enjoy the magic of our sport.”

From local villages to international platforms, this partnership aims to uplift voices, build inclusive courts, and showcase that when everyone plays — everyone wins.
