At Let’s Keep The Ball Flying (LKTBF), we believe in the power of sport to inspire, connect, and create change. That’s why we are incredibly proud to announce that Amirtya Soerakoesoemah, our Head Coach Story Setter, has been selected as one of the 25 IOC Young Leaders for the 2025–2028 cohort!
Coming from 25 different countries across five continents, this new group of changemakers will develop innovative projects that align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. With over 5,000 applicants from 169 countries, Amir’s selection is a testament to his passion for storytelling, sport, and impact-driven leadership.

What This Means for Amir & LKTBF
As part of the IOC Young Leaders Programme, Amir will receive:
💡 A four-year capacity-building programme with expert coaching and mentorship.
🌍 Access to a global sports-for-development network.
💰 $10,000 in seed funding to turn his ideas into sustainable social impact initiatives.
For LKTBF, this means having a stronger voice in the global sports movement, ensuring that the stories of our volleyball communities worldwide reach an even bigger audience.

As Head Coach Story Setter, Amir works alongside Captain of Inspiration Jitka Lopez and a team of dedicated Fingerprints to shape LKTBF’s communication, social media, and content strategy. From impactful campaigns to uplifting stories, their work ensures that LKTBF’s mission resonates worldwide.
Originally from Indonesia, Amir now calls the Netherlands home. His ability to connect with different cultures and bring authentic, heartfelt narratives to life is what makes him a true game-changer for LKTBF.
